Read this quote and thought of you -

"We run, not because we think it is doing us good, but because we enjoy it and cannot help ourselves. The more restricted our society and work become, the more necessary it will be to find some outlet for this craving for freedom. No one can say, 'You must not run faster than this, or jump higher than that.' The human spirit is indomitable."
-Sir Roger Bannister

Hope you're doing well.

Wow, thanks Lynn. This is awesome. I find it funny and totally appropriate that I popped up in your mind when you read this! Haha! Running to me is just another form of movement that I feel blessed to engage in... As long as we have bodies that work, it's so nice to use them creatively through movement. Dancing, running, jumping, bending, laying flat, cartwheeling... it really is all so good. Thanks for sharing this!

Nice work, dude. I've tried 5 times and always 'counter-clockwise'. My fastest time was was 2:30 (and a few seconds) and while I know a few guys who are sub 2:25 I've never heard of anyone even coming close to your time. As far as I'm concerned, you've got the record. It's a funny route, though, as conditions are quite fickle and some days that route just comes together. Good for you. My buddy tMail and I are going to try a spring condition super crank of that route this coming march w/ microspikes for the climb and boot-skiing down. It's gotta be fast, don't you think? But I'm gettin' kind old so I'm leaving it up to you young pups to hit sub-2. See you on the trail.
